Titania (TiO2)-Catalyzed Expedient, Solventless and Mild Synthesis of Bis(Indolyl)Methanes

Abstract
Titania (TiO2) is found to be an efficient catalyst for the electrophilic substitution reaction of indoles with aldehydes to afford the corresponding bis(indolyl)methanes in high yields under solvent free conditions.
