Abstract
Ruthenium(III) chloride catalyzes the preparation of 1,1-diacetates from aldehydes under mild and in solvent or solventfree
conditions. This method has some advantages such as good to excellent yields, ease of operation and workup, short
reaction time, high catalytic efficiency and high chemoselectivity.
