Titania (TiO₂)-Catalyzed Expedient, Solventless and Mild Synthesis of Bis(Indolyl)Methanes

Abstract
Titania (TiO₂) is found to be an efficient catalyst for the electrophilic substitution reaction of indoles with aldehydes to afford the corresponding bis(indolyl)methanes in high yields under solvent free conditions.
