Carbon-based solid acid catalyst was found to be highly efficient, eco-friendly;
recyclable heterogeneous
catalyst for selective oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides or sulfones in
excellent yields under mild reaction
conditions using 30% hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant.
