Abstract
A simple and efficient one-pot synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives
was achieved via condensation of methyl acetoacetate or ethyl propiolate with
various alkyl and aryl aldehydes and ammonium acetate at 80 °C under solvent
free conditions with good to excellent yields.
