Abstract
A new neolignan glycoside, named as brachyposide A, was isolated from the EtOH
extract of the roots of Acanthopanax
brachypus, together with nine known compounds. The structure of brachyposide A
was characterized by spectroscopic
means as (7S,8S)-Δ7′-2,9,9′-trihydroxy-7-O-3′,8-O-4′-neolignan-4-O-
β-D-apiofuranosyl-(1→6)- β-D-glucopyranoside.
The known compounds were identified by comparing their spectral data with those
of authentic samples or literature
data.
